He’s been waiting for half an hour at the terminal and he’s beginning to think she might not show up. Either that or she’s just trying to prove her point – she being perpetually late!
Then he heard this annoying nasal voice from the PA system for the umpteenth time, “Calling the attention of…,” that was his name he thought. Or at least it sounded like his name. “Maybe I should try the bloody pay phone!” he muttered. Now why didn’t he think of that earlier instead of panicking and pacing around the terminal??? Bloody useless mobile!
She said she’s at the arrival area waiting for him. She apologized for being late and said something about her brother and the taxi and mentioned someone else’s name he didn’t recognize. He thought, sod it! She’s here and right now, it’s all that matters!
He scanned the seemingly hundreds of strange faces at the terminal’s waiting area. Then he saw her just looking at him almost in disbelief. She didn’t even have to call his name or motion him to come. He just knew it was her.
He walked straight towards her and hugged her tightly... And it felt just right.
**********************
If this was an Ally McBeal episode, the chorus of the song, “A Moment Like This” or something equally mushy would have been playing by now while the rest of the people at the terminal would fade into oblivion as the camera zooms in on the couple still entwined in each other’s arms. This however, is what really happened when my partner and I first met, or rather, this is how he described it to me.
I, on the other hand, was just a nervous wreck, especially since I didn’t really have the time to absorb it all until the day he’s finally arrived. What with everything that I had to sort out: accommodation, transportation, my pending projects, my 8-hour job, my absences, my family, my whole stupefied life and everything else that I had to manage and deal with to make his arrival less ostentatious as I suspect everybody who knows me might perceive it.
But I have no regrets. This has been one of the best days of my life and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I was wondering too why you don't have any new posts..... Stay happy!
Thanks Mahalia & Brainchild. It's been nice holidaying but now I gotta drag my sorry arse to work! :)
Thank you also to everyone who has been very supportive of my decision.
I appreciate the gesture, Japot & Paulette; Missy (for the psyche analyses), Mildz (for the laughs & the laptop!), Reyn & Peach (for managing our unit during my numerous absences), to my office pals: Nelson, KC, Niño, Vic and all the others who had their share of “nose bleeds!”
THANK YOU! It means a lot to us. :-)
Awww...for a while there I thought I was getting the preview of a movie. Great to know it's a true story, work and many other things will be lots more fun!

Hi Dirnt,
My brother is indeed the best looking bloke in this side of the planet... I remember the time when we were taking a stroll in town and all of a sudden, there was this group of girls who apparently thinks so and they were just absolutely swooning!!!
