As I have written in the past (Desynchronization), I have a slow metabolism. I also think genetics has a lot to do with it. When I was younger though, it was easy enough to lose weight by starving myself for about a month and exercising a couple of times a week.
I only know a few types of diet:
- The yoyo diet, where I thrive from soda crackers or bread, juice or water and Nesvita for about a week then I’d splurge on junk foods for a day or two and then go back to crackers and Nesvita.
- The chocolate diet where I barely eat anything but still manage to nibble at least one bar of chocolate per day.
- The diet pills.
I know a lot of health enthusiast and diet pills haters would be itching to lecture me about how wrong and evil these methods are but please save it for those who are more willing to listen. My philosophy in life is everyone will die sooner or later anyway but whilst I’m living, I don’t want a protruding tummy. However, I don’t want to give up cakes and chocolates and crisps and McDonalds either to achieve the almost anorexic look. Heck, I’m not even asking for that much – I just want my breasts to be bigger than my stomach!
So anyway, because I have experimented with a few herbal appetite suppressants and prescribed drugs, I reckon I’d write about my experiences with them since it’s almost impossible to find any reviews about these pills on the Internet.
You can get information from discussion threads but then some of them are also a bit too dodgy. I suspect that some of them work for the manufacturers and sellers of these slimming pills. The best reference would still be your friends or acquaintances who could tell you about their own experiences while taking these supplements or drugs.
These are diet pills I have tried:
Prescription drugs
Ionamin (Phentermine Resin)
Xenical Orlistat – now Alli
Reductil (sibutramine)
Dietary / Herbal supplements
Hydroxycut
Kankunis herbal tea
Maggi
Seven Day Miracle Capsules
Hoodia GP57
On my next posts, I shall be discussing more about these slimming aids.
Disclaimer: I am not promoting any of the above drugs and herbal supplements. I do not work for any of them nor do I have any wish for. I shall however attempt to discuss and share my experiences while taking them as best as I can for everyone’s reference.
